Looking for a fun, accessible way to become more active? Join Laois Sports Partnership’s Inclusive Activator Pole Walk, a FREE 4-week walking programme designed to help participants improve fitness, balance, mobility, and confidence in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Using specially designed walking poles, this low-impact activity engages the whole body while reducing pressure on joints, making it suitable for people of all abilities and fitness levels. Whether you are new to physical activity or looking for a safe and enjoyable way to stay active, these sessions provide the perfect opportunity to get moving and meet new people.
As part of National Walking Day 2026 and the European Week of Sport #BeActive campaign, participants will learn proper pole walking techniques from trained instructors while enjoying the social and physical benefits of group exercise.
