Sport Ireland’s Safeguarding 1 – Child Welfare & Protection, Basic Awareness Workshop. Participants must be over 16 years of age. Participants aged 16 or 17 must submit a consent form, signed by parent/guardian.  Consent form can be emailed back to info@laoissports.ie Participants will receive course material/link via email a few days before the course. Certs will be emailed after course completion. Please note that refunds will not be issued to participants who do not join the course. FAQs Online Workshop This course will be delivered online via the Zoom platform. Login details will be emailed to all participants in advance of the training. Zoom can be downloaded for free to your device from the following link: https://zoom.us/download If you haven’t used Zoom before, don’t worry. We will explain the basic functions at the start of the workshop.

• Sport Ireland requires all attendees to have their video turned ON and have continuous engagement with the tutor in order to be certified.
