Laois Sports Partnership Named Finalists at the 2026 Irish Sport Industry Awards
Laois Sports Partnership is proud and humbled to be shortlisted once again at the 2026 Irish Sport Industry Awards, earning recognition in two categories:
- Local Sports Partnership of the Year
- Best Initiative to Promote Diversity, Equality & Inclusion in Sport & Physical Activity
Hosted by the Federation of Irish Sport, the awards will take place on Tuesday, 19th May at the College Green Hotel, Dublin. Now in its 9th year, the awards celebrate excellence, innovation, and impact across Ireland’s sport sector.
This recognition carries added significance as 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of Laois Sports Partnership. Reaching this milestone while continuing to be acknowledged at a national level is something the entire LSP team is extremely proud of.
The nomination reflects the ongoing commitment of staff, volunteers, partners, and participants who work together to create inclusive and active communities across Laois. While recognition at this level is never taken for granted, it is a moment of pride for everyone involved.
Laois Sports Partnership looks forward to celebrating alongside peers from across the country who are making a meaningful impact through sport.
