Active School Week Resources for Schools

Active School Week plays an important role in supporting schools working towards or maintaining their Active School Flag by promoting a whole-school approach to physical activity.

Support your school in delivering a fun, inclusive and engaging Active School Week, a key part of achieving and maintaining the Active School Flag, with our ready-to-use activity resources. Designed for both primary and secondary schools, these materials provide teachers with simple, effective ways to incorporate physical activity into the classroom and throughout the school day. From classroom movement breaks like Chair Activity Bingo to interactive challenges such as “What’s Your Name?” and energetic group games like Simon Says, these activities help promote student wellbeing, participation and daily physical activity. Each resource supports schools in building a positive, active environment and contributes towards the whole-school approach required for Active School Flag success, making it easier to engage all students regardless of ability while creating a meaningful and enjoyable Active School Week programme.
