What is a Parkrun?

Parkrun’s are free, weekly, community events all around the world.

Saturday morning events are 5k and take place in parks and open spaces. On Sunday mornings, there are 2k junior parkruns for children aged four to 14.

parkrun is a positive, welcoming and inclusive experience where there is no time limit and no one finishes last. Everyone is welcome to come along, whether you walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate.

How do I join?

Registration is completely free and only needs to be done once, whether you intend to walk, jog, run, or volunteer or do a combination of all these things!

The Parkrun leader will be able to assist you with registration on the day

Taster Sessions of recreational Kayaking on the canal at Vicarstown. Enjoy 2 hours out on the water.

These sessions of Kayaking is to introduce participants to kayaking that may have want to try it out but didn’t know where to start. The sessions will be on for three days; 13th, 14th & 15th of June

Pick which day suits best to get out on the water and enjoy the peace. Each session will last 2 hours.
