Easy-peasy Stepping with Sticks
Frank Fahey, our partner in fitWALK Ireland, has put together this simple guide to STEPPING with STICKS – an introduction to exercising using Activator Walking Poles. The poles are ideally suited for people with reduced mobility and balance issues. This demo includes a guide on getting ready to exercise safely, as well as basic on the spot exercises using the poles. Important Notice: Do not start any new exercise without consulting your doctor. If you experience any pain or difficulty with these exercises, stop immediately and consult with your healthcare provider.

Zumba classes are 45 minutes sessions.

About this Event
Couch to 2km – Beginner and Intermediate Levels
Keeping within our 2km restrictions why not challenge yourself to run/jog/walk your best 2km.
What do you need to do?
We will bring you your training every week via a podcast so you can listen while you are doing it. Stick in your earphones and its just you and your steps. We will be there to support you through your journey to completing the 2km at whatever pace you can.
Email us your interest – Fill in the Eventbrite form and we will send you your details via email or whats app. You will receive information regarding the training and also a podcast of the training which will guide you through your journey. All we ask is you let us know how you are finding it and your progress each week. We will run for 4 weeks and beyond if needs be. This can be done via a picture or message or snap shot of your details. The LSP team will be here to support you with any questions you have or tips we can provide to you.
No fancy gadgets needed just your earphones and an open mind to believe you can!
We have a beginner training and also a intermediate training plus a little challenge for the more advanced.
