Laois Sports Partnership wishes to recruit a part-time Co-ordinator for Rathdowney Errill Activity Hub, 20 hours per week on a 2 year’s fixed term contract. The candidate will have the option of being self-employed or an employee. The Co-ordinator role is to foster and encourage a culture of active participation, supporting opportunities for and access to sport and physical activity for the people of Laois.
The candidate shall:
- Hold a relevant qualification in sports development from recognised bodies
- Knowledge of water-based activities, such as running water based training, events, camps, and an understanding of the water.
- Have excellent knowledge of working in a sports/health/recreation environment in co-ordination and delivery.
- Have the inter-personal skills to involve people and communities in the planning, delivery and evaluation of programmes and initiatives.
