DESCRIPTION:Following on from our Swim For A Mile (SFAM) programme\, the finale will take place on Sunday  24th August in Ballinakill Outdoor Pool. \nSwim Ireland’s Swim For A Mile initiative aims to encourage people to get back into the pool and become confident life-long swimmers. Swim Ireland coaches have written a swimming programme\, that enables those who can swim a little to swim a mile in just 8 weeks. DESCRIPTION:Laois Sports Partnership is delighted to provide this online Recovery Strategies for Women in Sport workshop in partnership with EduFIT. \nThis 1-hour live online workshop will be delivered by Dr Diane Cooper (Clinical Exercise Physiologist)  and is aimed at women in sport who would like to learn more about how they can optimally recover from sport. This workshop is full of evidence-based information presented in a simple and practical manner\, with lots of examples and take-home resources\, and will be delivered online via Zoom. \nThis workshop is also important for people who support women in sport including coaches and female liaison officers. \nFAQs \nOnline Workshop \nThis course will be delivered online via the Zoom platform.
