DESCRIPTION:Join our virtual Couch to 5km Challenge. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWould you like to challenge yourself to run/jog/walk your best 5km.\nWhat do you need to do?\nWe will provide a printable 6 week plan with loads of helpful resources. \nParticipants who register will receive our updated ‘Couch To 5km’ Handbook which includes: \n\nTraining Plan\nProgress Tracker\nUseful Tips\nTasty Recipes\nOther Resources (Podcast)\n\nWe will be there to support you through your journey to completing the 5km at whatever pace you can. \nUpon registration you will receive information regarding the training via email. All we ask is you let us know how you are finding the programme and your progress each week. We will run for 6 weeks and beyond if needs be to get you to 5km. The plan can be adjusted to suit you for walking\, jogging or running. \nDon’t be afraid of trying it\, you WILL surprise yourself. SUMMARY:Safeguarding 2: Online Workshop\, Club Children's Officer Training
DESCRIPTION:Safeguarding 2: Club Children’s Officer (C.C.O)\n\n\n\n\nA person appointed to the Club Children’s Officer Position in a club must have completed Safeguarding 1 (Child Welfare & Protection Basic Awareness workshop) and should complete the NEW Club Children’s Officer 3 hour workshop. This course will help the Club Children’s Officer to carry out the function of their role in the club and support the implementation of best practice in the club. Participants will also receive a Club Children’s Officer Action Planning document as part of the training. \nParticipants must be over 16 years of age. \nParticipants aged 16 or 17 must submit a consent form\, signed by parent/guardian.  Consent form can be emailed back to info@laoissports.ie \nParticipants will receive course material/link via email a few days before the course. \nCerts will be emailed after course completion. \nPlease note that refunds will not be issued to participants who do not join the course.
