Riverdance #BeActive Night
On April 30th, 2000 in Vicarstown the record was set for the World’s Largest Riverdance. This year as part of European Week of Sport #BeActive event Laois Sports Partnership in partnership with SVT Activity & Wellness Hub and the Buggie School of Irish Dancing wish to invite everyone to join us for a Free, fun family event on the Grand Canal Bank, Vicarstown at 4pm on 28th September. Let’s get over 1,000 people to join us in a Riverdance on the Canal Bank to beat the record, have fun and be active! This event will be followed by a family fun evening showcasing the variety of sports and physical opportunities available in the SVT Activity & Wellness Hub with live music from local ceoiltus groups, mini blitzes, bouncing castles, refreshments and lots more fun things to do for everyone.
