Menopause is a natural and developmental transition from the reproductive to non-reproductive stage of a woman’s life and is defined by 12 months without mensus or a period. It comprises the stages of perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause.
Menopause often results in the loss of skeletal muscle mass and bone, alterations in body composition including increased central body fat, impaired blood glucose management and a rise in the potentially harming cholesterols, which are risk factors for metabolic and cardiovascular diseases.
However, engaging in the right type, amount and intensity of exercise can prevent and manage these negative changes. Therefore, an understanding of the importance of exercise and healthy lifestyle habits is essential for overall optimal health and wellbeing and may even make the menopause transition an easier one!

Strength & Tone – This is the perfect class to maintain and develop muscle and bone. It improves whole-body strength and muscle tone! You will work every muscle and bone in your body in this class, even the ones you didn’t know you had!
Free weights can be used if you have them, but you can also improvise with household items such as water bottles or tinned cans., Menowell – We use multimodal exercises to improve your cardiovascular fitness, strength, balance and flexibility all within the one class. Training these specific components of fitness is extremely important for functional healthy ageing and the menopause journey! ,
Menorobics – This class really focuses on your cardiovascular fitness and heart health. It is very important for keeping your blood sugars, blood pressure and cholesterols in the healthy ranges. It also trains flexibility, mobility, coordination and balance, which are essential for activities of daily living,
MenoModules – There are 40 minute live online workshops delivered by experts every week focusing on different topics relating to the menopause journey.
