Woodenbridge Paddlers presented a cheque to the chairperson of Laois Sports Partnership Patricia Cullen in region of €2k for sport for people with disabilities in Laois.  The sponsored marathon took place on 18th July when approx. 20 canoeists took to the high, fast-flowing water at Castletown Wier.  The Board of Laois Sports Partnership would like to thank all the participants and organisers of the event especially Michael G Phelan for supporting this worthy cause.
