This course will involve 68 hours of contact time and approximately 23 hours of individual study. The course will involve the completion of 6 units.

Entry Requirements
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the commencement of the learning programme.
- Be holders of a Swim Ireland Level 1 Assistant Teacher qualification or Level 1 Teaching Aquatics qualification
- The candidate must be able to provide the Swim Ireland Education and Development team with evidence of having attended the Irish Sports Council “Child protection in Sport Awareness Workshop”, (Local Sports Partnerships title these courses ‘Code of Ethics’ courses.)
- The candidate must (in line with Coaching Ireland) have evidence of having planned (and delivered) a 12 week cycle within a teaching programme.
