Laois Sports Partnership assisted the World Fleadh over the August Bank Holiday by doing Street Sports.

On Sunday there was athletics with assistance from North Laois Athletics Club - short relays, zig zag relays, target throws, balance bar, speed bounce, javelin, parachute games and also Badminton which was supported by Badminton Union of Ireland and local Development Officer Richard O'Dowd.

On Monday the FAI Luke Hardy & Nicole Dunphy hosted tab tops and street soccer and our very own Disability Officer's Garrett Culliton & Joanne Wall demonstrated Boccia.

All events saw over 150 children participating with some adults trying their hands at the activities offered.
