Two year Part-time Contract

Laois Sports Partnership supported by the Irish Sports Council has secured funding from Pobal under the Dormant Accounts Fund for the recruitment of a Sports Inclusion Development Officer (SIDO).

The main function of this position is to increase the participation of people with disabilities in sport/physical activity and to ensure that local resources are used to best effort and facilitate inclusion.

The successful candidates will be required to:

*Demonstrate proven experience of working in the disability sector and/or sports development/community development.

*Possess excellent networking, leadership, planning, organisational, IT and communication skills.

This post is being offered part-time (17.5 hours p.w.) on a two year basis.  The salary for this post will be €20,300 per annum; based on the equivalent VEC Grade 5 Point 1.
