Children of Laois - Can you run? Can you Cycle? Did you ever do the two things together? A Duathlon is a special sport where you run, then you cycle and then you run again. In June, 80 schoolchildren from across the county came to Portlaoise to do a duathlon. Good News! The event was so popular, it's coming back this September. The race takes place in the GAA grounds from 10:30 am on 22 September, and is open to all primary school children. All finishers get a medal, a t-shirt and a surprise! Children who want to take part just need to get their Mum or Dad to fill out and sign a form for you, and then send it back to us. For Teachers / Parents: 1.
