National Women in Sport Manager E-mail
Swim Ireland, the national governing body for swimming, water-polo, diving and associated aquatic sports in Ireland, is seeking to appoint a National Women In Sport Manager to work with the Swim Ireland Education and Development team.  Swim Ireland, supported by the Irish Sports Council, would be pleased to receive applications for the above post.

You will be responsible to the Director of Education and Development for leading, developing, co-coordinating and implementing key projects nationally across many facets of the aquatics including participation and learn to swim, coaching, governance, officiating and projects that will raise awareness and help to promote the benefits for women of being involved in all aquatic disciplines and pathway development.

The applicants for this post should have a good knowledge of sport and be familiar with at least one of the aquatic disciplines and have a genuine interest in the development of people within the sport. This person must be able to embrace and demonstrate Swim Ireland’s Philosophy and values at all times. 
The successful candidate will have a degree qualification and a proven track record of leadership and management. The candidate will also have experience in developing and implementing projects (including events) to high standards.  The candidate will have to have a working knowledge of devising and implementing both education/development and/or performance pathways and programmes for sports personnel.
