Laois County Council Calling on Mountrath Children |

PLAN MOUNTRATH'S PLAYGROUND FOR SPRING 2006 . . . Laois County Council Sport Leisure and Play Section and Mountrath Development Association invite the Children and Parents of Mountrath and surrounding areas to vote for the equipment and surface of their choice and to choose a theme for the playground which is to located in the Amenity Park, Link Road, Mounrath in Spring 2006. Voting will take place in Mountrath Credit Union commencing Wednesday 20th July until Satarday 28th July during normal opening hours where posters of sample equipment etc. will be on display. To encourage voting there will be an excellent prize draw for children. Ann Marie Maher, Sports and Play Officer, Laois County Council would like to encourage children in particular to cast their vote for the new playground as it is most important to consider children's opinions inorder to provide a sustainable playgound which will be encouraged by children aged 0 - 12 for years to come.
