To Sports Clubs & Community Organisations The 2004 Sports Capital Grants Scheme will be advertised by the Department Arts, Sports & Tourism in the coming weeks, i.e. end November 2003 with an expected closing date for receipt of completed applications of mid-January 2004. Application forms can be acquired from the Department on (01) 633800 or by contacting us at Laois County Council Sport & Leisure Office (0502) 62867. Laois County Council’s Sports Section will hold an Information Workshop on Monday 24th November @ Áras Laighean the new Leinster Council Offices, Mountmellick Road, Portlaoise @ 7.45pm to assist all clubs and community groups interested in applying for the grant. Laois County Council Sport & Leisure Office would be delighted to assist you with the application process and are available to answer queries in relation to the scheme.
