2003 Sports Capital Programme Allocations |

The Department of Tourism, Sports & Recreation has announced the allocations of grants from the 2003 Sports Capital Programme (Lotto Grants). In total Laois received €450,000 for 18 projects. The largest allocation was for €100,000 to Portarlington Tennis Club. Soccer clubs received a total of €164,000 while €90,000 was granted to GAA clubs and €88,000 to community groups.
